This place has the BEST tacos & is very affordable!! Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. The building is quite unassuming but don’t let it stop you from coming in. So good for a casual meal!!

True Mexican food on the lake hands down the best, definitely coming back. Workers are super friendly and prices should be higher in my opinion for the quality of the food

The only truly authentic Mexican food at the lake. I spent 80% life living with authentic Mexican food and this is the real deal. Its a little more pricey than what I am use to. I definitely don't think the small bag of chips and small cup of queso is worth $4.50+. Its the same queso most restaurants around town sell. However the tacos are good, definitely authenti, a little dry tonight but still good! Nice people! $60 to feed 4 adults and 2 kids.

Fantastic street tacos! Anyone visiting lake of the ozarks knows that good food is hard to find here. Take a quick trip across the grand glaize bridge towards camdenton & give Taqueria la Tapatia a try. Excellent carne asada, al pastor & barbacoa street tacos. It is across from the Lake Regional hospital complex, a down the street from Coral Reef Seafood - another osage beach food gem.

I tried a variety of their tacos: Carne asada, AL pastor, barbacoa, and carnitas. They were all incredible. I ordered a side of guac for them and the guac was very tasty with a little kick. Both their red and green sauces added delicious flavor to my tacos and the red sauce brought the heat.The staff were all wonderful and accommodating. Made us feel at home there.The inside only has two tables so keep that in mind before you go.Price is good for what you get.Overall wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend and go again.Delicioso. 😁

Tacos are pretty good. The people working actually managed to severely hurt my feelings though. I ordered $45 worth of food, picked it up got back to my lodge and there wasn’t queso and chips that I ordered. Normally I wouldn’t care but it was $4.50 and I wasn’t too far so I called and told them I could pick up. The woman opens the window, walks away grabs queso and hands it to me. I tell her I also had chips and the man walks over to the window and said “If you want more chips you need to pay for them” and I try to tell him I didn’t have any with my food and he says “I know I put them in a bag and he put them in with your food” I was saying that I wouldn’t lie about a small bag of chips and that I’ll just go (because I do not like confrontation) and he said “I’ll just give you a bag”. I felt like a fool. I am not in a place where I have to lie to get extra chips and I WOULD NEVER STEAL. So good food, poor experience

All of us loved our food. Tamales are top notch. Al pastor and Barbacoa was delicious. Definitely a nice hidden gem. Staff was very friendly.

Best tacos in the area! I live an hour away and plan to go there every week from now on. They don't serve alcohol but there is a bar next door.

Simply incredible. If you want delicious, authentic Mexican food, come here. Very limited seating, only 2 employees at a time, but an unforgettable experience and flavors every time my wife and I eat here. It's always worth the stop. The corn tortillas, while delicious, can make the tacos quite small, so for slightly bigger portions, ask for flour.

Friendly People Great Tasting Food

Wow, great little place with great people running it. The tacos were fantastic, especially the barbacoa; great seasoning on the meat. The hot sauces were both really good too, the green has great flavor with just a bit of heat and the red is also flavorful with quite a bit of heat. The stand out is the tamale, I've never had one served with queso but I'll want it from now on; it was really really great!

Amazing food, great service. Could not have been happier with the food. The tacos were some of the best I've had, the chorizo had the perfect blend of spices, the carnitas were flavorful and juicy, the steak was to die for. The salsa had a delicious flavor with a great kick. We got it to go since there wasn't much sit down space. Can't wait to go back

"Worlds Best Food"Thats the truth.

I give this one a 2 star due to the over use of a microwave. Service was ok. They messed up 2 out of 2 orders. The first time they completely didn't make my wife's order. And when we came back they just said well we didn't charge for that, not admitting any kind of wrong. Sure the food is good. But you can tell, in my opinion, that everything is frozen or microwaved. Basically a fast food Mexican restaurant.

We had them cater our wedding 120 people. They were super easy to work with and the food was AMAZING!! Would highly recommend them for any event.

We tried all 8 tacos on the menu, $2.29 for each. I can't remember the name but they have pulled pork, pulled beef, grilled chicken, crispy pork skin, and liver. They all taste great and the flavor of one is really different from the others. I like that they use cilantro and onion for the filling rather than the pale lettuce.

Authentic Mexican food at the LOTO. It's a small restaurant with outdoor seating, and most probably do it as take out if they are busy, but don't let that deter you. The soft drinks are served in bottles, which is so nostalgic, and the food is absolutely amazing. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, and even bought a dinner to take home for later this evening. We are so happy we found this place.

Best mexican food since I left San Diego, Ca.

It may be a small place but it is a go to stop for Osage beach. It was honestly one of the best Mexican places that I have ever experience. And I highly recommend you try it out too.
